 A Taste of El Paso Dinning Tours......

is the hottest new culinary tourist activity created by Border Sights Tours of El Paso. We have been doing historical tours of El Paso for several years. In response to visitor’s requests, we now offer a tour and a great meal; including climate controlled round trip transportation for guests staying in El Paso Hotels.  

 

LaMexicana Experience   (Evenings, 6-9pm; $105 per person) 

Your evening will begin experiencing the Mexican Revolution of 1910, led by Pancho Villa, as retold by your driver-guide.  See locations around the city of El Paso that were frequented by the colorful but controversial revolutionary.  Hear tales of his exploits that will make you feel like you were part of the action during this extraordinary period in history.  Along the way we’ll stop at Rosas’s Cantina, where you can enjoy a drink and conversation in a 1950’s atmosphere.  Dinner tonight will be at a favorite spot of both locals and visitors alike.  A Mexican dinner, with your choice of coffee, iced tea, or soft drink will be served.  Also, is a view of the cities of El Paso and Juarez from high atop Scenic Drive, where the lights stretch south and east, all the way to the horizon.  Polish off the evening with a frosty Margarita under the awesome Tiffany dome.

Trail Hands Dinner  (Evenings, 6-9pm; $105 per person) 

Begin with a trip to the upper valley, where we see different color types and breeds of horses, with a possibility of seeing Longhorn cattle, Buffalos, and maybe cowboys working with their horses.  Occasional roping events in the ranch arena have been observed by previous guests.  We will drive back to El Paso through the farm roads of the valley to visit a store where you can find all things Texas.  Dinner will be a true West Texas experience in a rousing Old West atmosphere.  A succulent steak dinner, with your choice of 2 side dishes will be served along with coffee, iced tea, or soft drink.  Then we are off for dessert and coffee.  The crowning touch is a view of the cities of El Paso and Juarez from high atop Scenic Drive, where the lights stretch south and east, all the way to the horizon.
